Beauregard is a true country gentleman. He loves, loves, LOVES his people, and is happy to hang out with them all day long. That doesn't mean Beau is a layabout, though - on the contrary, whenever there's trouble, Beau can be found policing the yard and getting after any troublemakers. Good with other dogs, cats, and children, Beau is a real dream of a dog!

True to his rat terrier lineage, Jupiter has energy to spare. This ambitious little guy is never happier than when he is playing with other dogs. Because of his high energy level, Jupiter should go to an active home, and may thrive as an agility dog or just as your steadfast running buddy. Jupiter gets along well with other dogs, but because of his energy level and some shyness, needs a home with no children under twelve years old. |

This handsome little man was surrendered at the local animal shelter, and was scheduled to be put to sleep until Clean Slate intervened. He is a lovable, energetic little bundle who gets along with other dogs and loves people. Because of his small size, he would make a great apartment dog, but would also do well in the country.

Truman is the reason people love beagles. Devoted, inquisitive, and completely adorable, this curious little guy loves to spend his days sniffing out clues and generally keeping himself busy. He gets along very well with other dogs, and would make a great addition to your beagle pack or as the sole object of your affection.

We found little Lacey walking along the highway trailing a long leash, completely terrified. It was plain to see that she had been owned, so we were amazed when no one stepped forward to claim this lovely girl, despite having put up flyers and alerted the local shelter that we'd found her. Lacey is a sweetie who loves to be held, is bright, obedient, and eager to please. She would be a perfect apartment dog, however we believe because of her size that she is best suited to homes without children under the age of twelve. This adorable little guy was on a transport bound for the Kentucky Humane Society, but he and his sister unfortunately had the sniffles and so weren't able to stay. Now, they are temporarily housed at Clean Slate while we search for the best home for them. Alfie is a doll, inquisitive and smart and lots of fun. Based on the size of his paws, he will grow to be a very big pup one day. Like all puppies, he will need patience, love, and training to reach his full potential.

Night Ranger jumped through our open kitchen window one warm summer night when we were doing the dishes. Naturally, we were quite surprised! She is a little sweetie pie who, amazingly enough, was never claimed despite putting up posters and alerting the local shelter. Ranger is exceptionally coordinated and bright, and we believe would do very well with obedience and agility training. She will make a wonderful family dog, as she is sturdy, lively, and loving.

This sweet little girl came to us with her brother Otis. Both pups were suffering from kennel cough, but that has cleared up nicely and now both pups are ready for action. Weezer is a quiet girl who loves to play almost as much as she loves to curl up in the nearest lap for a nice long snooze. She can be a little shy at first, but gets over it quickly. Like all puppies, Weezer will require obedience training, patience, and lots of love to reach her full potential. |

Otis is a little cuddle bunny who is happiest when he is either being petted or is snuggled up on someone's lap. He came to Clean Slate with kennel cough, but that has cleared up nicely and now he's up and playing with the other pups like a little champ. Otis is a smart, outgoing little pup who gets along well with other dogs, is used to cats, and loves people. With obedience training and loads of love, this little guy will make someone a remarkable best friend. |

Izzie is an extraordinary little girl who wants only to be loved. She will twist herself up in knots in your lap, and though she's still a peppy puppy, is happy to sit for hours with her favorite people. Her lovely brindle coat makes her a striking companion, and her personality makes her the dog of a lifetime. Izzie would make a perfect apartment dog, but because of her small size she should not be in a home with small children. |

Shadow is another remarkable little pup who just wants to be loved. Inquisitive, independent, and full of spunk, little Shadow loves to play with the other puppies, explore her surroundings, and then snuggle in on her favorite lap. She gets along well with other dogs, shows very little interest in cats, and loves her nap times. As with the other pups listed at Clean Slate, obedience training and lots of love are recommended to help this little girl reach her true potential. |
